Character Mood Board #3, Minny Ferrell

Minny Ferrell is the character the reader follows in the third chapter, and, like Penny she is one of the middle children in the Girl House.

Children often react differently to growing up in a household where funds are limited, and Minny is no different. Her happiest possessions are her hair ribbons and the brand new coat her eldest sisters got her for her birthday. The sweetheart cried when she realized this coat was hers and hers alone!

Now, she has the responsibility of going on errands! Getting decorations for your home, especially during Midwinter is serious business, and you can be sure she wants her house to be the cosiest, happiest place it can be!

A small fireplace, happily crackling, with a bunch of blankets and frills around the skirts is probably what I envision the most for her. You can find joy in even the tiniest things.
