She is the character the reader follows in the seventh chapter, and one that addresses something I think we can all relate to in our childhoods.


Remember when you would hide under the covers at night, trying not to look into the shadows or out the window? Because if you did, the monster would see you? Imagine if that was real.


Lea is a vulnerable young girl simply wanting security and warmth, like a baby animal looking for its mother. Someone give this girl a hug and a blanket!


Winter in a world where goblins and ghosts could be lurking behind every heap of snow is a prime location for hiding inside your pillow. Luckily, Lea has lots of sisters to huddle against!
